Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event Celebrates Fourteen Years Downtown and Second Annual Race in Lombard

What: For the second consecutive year, Komen Chicago will offer two race locations for its annual Komen Chicago Race for the Cure® event.  Over 15,000 cancer survivors and activists are expected to participate in the signature 10K/5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Walk in both Grant Park and Lombard, IL.

Why: Komen Chicago will celebrate a second year with a suburban race to occur on the same weekend in DuPage County, which has the highest breast cancer incidence rate in their 5 county service area.
