Sesame Street Muppet: Encouraging Kids Everywhere

She has kids –– and many adults –– proclaiming loud and proud “I love my hair."

Now, the Sesame Street Muppet has returned to encourage little girls to “Change the World.”

The natural-haired Muppet that we have grown to love is back and ready to encourage more young girls out there with her new song. According to the Huffington Post, The song is written by the show's head writer Joey Mazzarino, who also penned last year's "Hair" song for his then five-year-old daughter Segi.

I think it’s awesome that he made this character for his daughter, but I don’t think he would have guessed that he would inspire so many people with his “Hair” song. Now, with the song “Change the World,” Joey is telling young girls out there that they can be anything. In the song, the character goes through different career possibilities, from a doctor to the President of the United States, eventually claiming: “I’m gonna be the best me that I can be!”
