It’s time to exchange your drab winter wardrobe for something more exciting. Spring is finally here, and there have never been more ways to spruce up your style. With so many options and trends this season, it can get pretty overwhelming when it comes to integrating them into your wardrobe—but with a few tips, you can go from out of season to straight off the runway.

Nudes/Blushes

This spring it’s all about the nudes; they add an air of sophistication to any casual outfit. This trend can be incorporated in many different ways, but it’s all about simplicity. Whether it’s a blouse, handbag, trousers, flats or pumps, this hue will mesh with any color scheme. For a casual look pair a classic white shirt with your favorite dark denim skinny jeans. Top off this look with a pair of nude patent leather flats and simple accessories, and you’re on your way. For work, add sophistication to your favorite colored blouse by pairing it with a nude or blush colored pencil skirt. There are countless ways to rock this trend, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

Prints

Nothing says spring like a floral print. This season floral has been spotted everywhere, but you don’t have to stop there. Whatever print catches your eye can be transformed into a stylish spring look. The same goes for this fun and fabulous trend. You can wear print in any piece; it just depends on how well you pair it with other items. For someone with a more simplistic style, find a printed blouse that can be worn day or night. With this item in your closet, you can add it to your work wear or pair it with trousers for a night out. For the more daring woman, try to rock this trend form head to toe. Stay in the same color family, or use the same print. This look is sure to stand out in a crowd, but keep the shoes simple. A pop of color may do the trick, or those nude colored flats may be the missing piece.

Color

Speaking of pop of color, brights are the biggest trend this spring. From neons to pastels, you can’t go wrong with color. The trick is to make that color the statement piece because that is exactly what you’re doing, making a statement. If you’ve had your eye on that neon yellow Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, go get it. That is a perfect way to spring your wardrobe into the new season. It really doesn’t matter what color you choose, as long as you are comfortable wearing it. Nothing says “in season” more than your confidence, and with that you’ll be right on for spring.
