1. A Charlie Brown Christmas. I love all of the Charlie Brown movies! I guess you can say it’s the kid in me. “This Charlie Brown” movie is probably my favorite because of two scenes. I love the scene where the character Schroeder plays the piano, and all of the kids start dancing – it’s just too cute! My other favorite scene is when the character Linus goes into a monologue, and says what Christmas is all about. This movie is definitely a great family movie.
2. This Christmas. If it wasn’t for the cast, this movie wouldn’t have stood a chance. The casting director did an amazing job having Idris Elba, Loretta Devine, Regina King, Laz Alonso, and Columbus Short (just to name a few) all in one movie. “This Christmas” was also a great family movie that showed the issues a family can go through, and how they can get through them together. I also liked this movie because some of the scenes reminded me of my family.
3. Elf. Okay, as you can see, I get into “kid mode” when Christmas comes around. The movie “Elf” is a good movie for the family, and it is guaranteed to make you laugh. Will Ferrell did a great job staying in character for a family movie, but still kept some of his humor in the role. Whenever this movie comes on television I am glued to it like it’s my first time seeing it.
