A Letter to My Future Husband

Hi, where are you?
I been looking for you everywhere
In the dark corners of smoke filled rooms
In the back of alleys, under the rug and outside my window

letter

I can’t seem to find you
So I thought I would let  you know that I will not go looking for you anymore

I look in all the wrong places anyway…

So, yeah I have decided to do like the good book says and allow you to seek me
And I believe that you will, in time, find me

I trust in the love that I feel for you

Isn’t that crazy?
To love someone you may have never met?

Or have I met you?

Wouldn’t that be something…

If my husband is already my friend
Are you? My friend I mean
Or am I a mystery you know you will solve one day?

Man, I can’t wait to meet you!

Well, I just wanted to tell you that I think of you everyday
You live in my heart
We dance in my dreams

On the day that I wake up and your still beside me…

I will no longer need to ask where you are
Because I will know…I will know

Until We Fall in Love,
Mrs. Mystery
