Letter from the Editor

Hello Again Family!

I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for the fall¬¬––I know I am! Welcome back to YOUR online magazine (oh, and welcome back to school for many of you!). We have some great things in store for you this go around and so I hope you take the time to check everything out. We have an 'Oh so real' interview with one of the hottest actresses in the game, Ms. Tasha Smith. You may remember her as the mother of some fast teenage girls in ATL, or from the Tyler Perry films Daddy's Little Girls and the wildly popular Why Did I Get Married? Ms. Smith took a few minutes to speak with GMO and I think you will be very interested in what she had to say!

Also, pay close attention to the Creative Writing section––I was tempted to call this the “Creative Issue” due to all the great poems and short stories that are overflowing this section!

Now I know we are not covering every story, nor providing you with articles on every topic of interest to you, the avid online reader. You know what my suggestion is to cure that? YOU need to become a staff or contributing writer of GMO! Are you in school and in need of clips? Do you need a forum for your work to be seen? Need clips in order to obtain that (paying) gig or job? Need an internship? Or do you just want to published online to add to your growing portfolio? Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, please send me an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . I look forward to welcoming you into the growing GMO family.

We will be having a meeting in Chicago very soon so be sure to contact me or Midwest Editor Frances Moffett at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more details.

Thank you again for continuing to check GMO out! I hope you like what we have in store for you with this issue!

Until Next Time,
Tiffani
