His response to the recession and a tumultuous time personally generated the anticipated return of Van Hunt to the music scene. His new project, What Were You Hoping For?, is set for release Sept. 27. After more than three years, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer releases his response to society, the economy and his personal life.

While most of us got to know and love Malik Yoba through his role as heartthrob detective J.C. Williams in hit TV series New York Undercover, and more recently as Gavin in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? films, it’s no secret his fans have missed seeing him on the small screen every week. He returns to television for Sy-Fy’s new series Alphas.
