This World, My World

This world, my world makes no sense

Yet I continue to learn, move, live and love

This world, your world is too far to travel. Yet, I want to come

m

And visit if only for a day

This world, my world is closing in

The walls are thickening

The anger is roaring

The fear is multiplying

The rules are ridiculous

And if I dare break them, there are consequences

Or so they say

The unwritten rules that rule my world

This world, my world just will not do

Let me take a break inside your world, if only for a day
